We are excited to announce that Coach Bill will now be available for private instruction! Private golf lessons are a great way for a player to improve their game. It allows for the instructor to focus on what is best for the student and create a plan specifically for them. Private instruction with Coach Bill will include all elements of the game – short game, full swing mechanics, video analysis, game management, goal setting, along with techniques in self-management, purposeful practice, fundamental focus, and much more. About Coach Bill:

A native of Nashville, Tennessee, Bill Rader moved to Roanoke in October 1999 and has been proud to call it his home ever since. Bill and his wife Michelle married in 2004 and have raised two wonderful boys, Jackson and Henry.

Bill began his golf career at Countryside Golf Course in the fall of 2001. In the spring of 2006 Bill became the assistant golf professional at Westlake Golf & Country Club where he learned and honed his craft as an instructor of the game. In May 2013, Bill was elected into the Professional Golfers’ Association of America, earning membership as a Class-A PGA Teaching Professional.  In 2014, Bill joined First Tee – Roanoke Valley as the director of Programming and Instruction and earned his stautus as a Recognized First Tee Coach in 2016. During his time at First Tee Bill, has offered instruction to more than 5,000 area juniors through classes, clinics, camps and outreach programs. Bill’s dedication and passion for the game come through in each lesson he gives.
