Registration is now open for the 2023 First Tee – Roanoke Valley Junior OPEN Series.
Thanks to the generous support of local courses, juniors ages 5-18 in the Roanoke Valley have an opportunity to learn about, practice and play competitive golf. First Tee – Roanoke Valley Junior Open series offers a variety of individual and team nine-hole events which provides youth an opportunity to learn how to play tournament golf while developing and improving their game. By utilizing age/skill appropriate tees and maximum score per hole, these events are designed to educate beginning golfers and challenge those more accomplished. Players are expected to walk and carry or push their clubs.
We also offer a Links Fore Fun division for those who wish to play without keeping score. The goal of the series is to help juniors become comfortable on the course and develop their game (and character) in a fun and friendly atmosphere.
Juniors ages 5 – 9 have the opportunity to play in our Mini-Junior Series, composed of 6-hole events utilizing our First Tee “course.”
Want to play up a division? Please ask!
Juniors do not have to be First Tee participants to register. A mimium of 10 participants must register in order for the event to be held.
